LOWA’s new men's hiking boot model can almost be described as being cut from the same cloth. Its upper is made of a piece of nubuck leather in closed lacing system. In addition to the slip-free C4 tongue, the X-LACING system and waterproof GORE-TEX lining also ensure all-round comfort. These features not only keep your feet dry on soggy and cold days but also guarantee an ideal climate inside the shoe itself. The real highlight, however, is the newly developed VIBRAM APPTRAIL DIVO sole, which consists of two PU layers with different degrees of hardness. The softer section below the heel and in the ball area provides the cush­ioning you need. The harder section delivers addi­tional stability. The sole is rounded out in the truest sense of the word by the slightly curved shape in the forefoot area, which improves rolling prop­erties and ensures comfortable walkability.

• GORE-TEX® – Guar­anteed weather protection, even in pouring rain and heavy snow: The RANGER GTX is equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane. The innovative tech­nology delivers optimal waterproof protection and breath­ability.
• 2-Zone-Lacing – Thanks to the two-zone lacing system used in the RANGER GTX, the forefoot and upper have their own separately adjustable lacing zones. As a result, the shoe can be indi­vidually adapted to the anatomy of the foot and laced in different ways for ascents and descents.
• As a result, the tongue is located where it should be – without any slippage or pressure points: This is what X-LACING tech­nology of the RANGER GTX is all about. This special lacing system secures the tongue both vertically and hori­zontally. Because the lacing system gains inde­pendence from the height of the instep, the design is perfect for any type of foot. This tech­nology ensures that the pressure of the laces is trans­ferred not just to the hooks but to the tongue as well.
• C4-Tongue – The specially designed tongue of the RANGER GTX substan­tially enhances comfort. The tongue includes extra padding for the outer portion of the foot, and the upper end of it is espe­cially soft. This asym­metric padding provides effectively coordinated support to many areas of the foot. To take into account the foot’s anatomy, the recesses for the ankle area have also been placed higher on the inside than on the outside, and a flexible bending insert has been integrated into the inner side by the foot.
• The RANGER GTX comes equipped with a Vibram sole. The Italian sole manu­facturer has been one of the leading brands of high-quality soles for many years. The VIBRAM®-APPTRAIL-DIVO sole has a modern, self-cleaning profile. It proves its excep­tional capab­ilities partic­ularly when it is put to the test on chal­lenging terrain. The sole’s features are comple­mented on every terrain by the distinctive heel front that excels during descents.
