The Nendaz Q LITE are freeride goggles with the top ALPINA technology Quattroflex. This means the lens enhances contrasts in the snow. You’ll see clearly when you wear these goggles. And you’ll look good, too. The goggles’ modern shape is sharp, progressive, big - and yet also designed to fit on most noses. Nendaz is also on the nose in terms of sustainability, as evidenced by the “Protecting Planet” rating. • With a Venting lens, ventilation openings are integrated into the lens to ensure optimum ventilation of the interior of the spectacles. This effectively prevents the lens from fogging.
• All Alpina lenses provide 100% UV-A-, -B-, -C-protection and thus guarantee excellent eye protection.
• With Doublelens Thermoblock, an air chamber is created between the two lenses to prevent a cold bridge. As a result, the view is fog-free and always optimal.
• All Alpina ski goggles have a Fogstop coating. This is not smooth but rough - on a microscopic level. This prevents moisture from forming a closed layer. So the lens doesn’t fog up and the view remains clear.
• Airframe venting is an intelligent ventilation system for ski goggles. Air vents at the sides and bottom with special foam covers allow a continuous movement of air within the body of the goggles. This circulation of air disperses moisture preventing the lens from misting up.
• The Comfort Frame is designed in such a way that it adapts perfectly to the shape of the face thanks to the flexible plastic webbing in the forehead and cheek area. The result: an ergonomic fit that ensures the best possible comfort and prevents pressure marks. At the same time, the ski goggles are perfectly finished
• Cylindrical lenses allow a flat, straight-line goggle construction. Compared to a spherical lens, the distance to the eyes is smaller. Thermoblock and Fogstop effectively prevent icing or fogging of the glasses and ensure a clear view.
• Mirror is a lens on which multiple reflective layers are applied. They provide protection from harsh glares and infrared light. Mirror is not only the feature of a highly functional lens, it’s an element of style.
• Seeing contrast with clarity is a basic feature of sports goggles for ALPINA. This is why we developed the contrast-enhancing Q-Lite technology, which makes contrasts more visible on the trail and the road, helps colours appear richer and provides sharper vision. This allows the eyes to remain focussed for longer so that they are less strained and perform better in crucial moments.
• Skid Grip is a special rubber coating on the inside of the eyewear strap. They prevent the ski goggles from slipping on the mostly smooth surface of the ski helmet.
